About the Role

You will join a dedicated commercial team with a special focus on enterprise technology clients for content management, e-commerce, UX, data & AI. 

  • Your primary focus is New Business Development, but you also remain involved with accounts with whom you have established partnerships (e.g., account planning, lead generation, nurturing for technology projects).
  • Your starting points: a overall commercial business plan, active involvement in marketing activities (e.g., Tech Events, Developer Meetups, roundtables) and the CRM.
  • You focus on your contacts within technology-driven organisations, but also bring the right technical experts to the table to develop customised software solutions for the client.
  • You collaborate with Software Architects, Cloud Engineers, Integration Specialists, and DevOps experts to pitch persuasive technical proposals to companies.
  • You are the inspiring and connecting factor between business and technology. You take the lead in clearly explaining complex technical solutions and creating technology partnerships. Surrounded by an experienced commercial team and technology experts, there are always colleagues to brainstorm with about technical pitches, market approaches and technology roadmaps.

What You Will Do

  • New Business Development: You identify and develop new business opportunities within software engineering, cloud integrations and digital platform development.
  • Selling customised solutions: You translate complex client queries into concrete technology propositions together with software architects and development teams.
  • You target Tier 1 and Tier 2 organisations with complex software development and integration needs.
  • Lead technical pitch processes: Together with technology experts, you present convincing proposals for bespoke applications, API integrations, and cloud solutions.
  • Partnership development: You build long-term technology partnerships with CTO's, IT Directors and technical stakeholders.
  • You actively participate in tech events, developer meetups and technology thought leadership initiatives.
  • You work closely with software architects, cloud engineers and their technology practice leads.

About You

  • +8 years’ experience in business development within a software integrator, technology consultancy or digital agency with a strong technology focus.
  • In-depth knowledge of technology services: Digital Experience platforms, enterprise software, cloud integrations, APIs, bespoke application development, data platforms and software engineering methodologies.
  • Experience with pitch processes at Tier 1 and Tier 2 level for complex software projects and enterprise platform implementations.
  • You understand the dynamics within corporate organisations and can easily interact at C-level.
  • You are independent and a team player who works easily with software engineers, architects and technology consultants.
  • A solution-oriented, results-driven, decisive and persuasive attitude when dealing with technical challenges.
  • The ability to successfully conclude complex, long-term technology partnerships.
