About the role
As a Business Development Representative, you are the first link in the commercial process and play a key role in growing the customer base. You focus on creating new opportunities by identifying, contacting and qualifying potential customers. Your mission is to prospect, spark interest, create pipeline, open doors and close deals.
In short:
- Actively go for new business opportunities through a mix of outbound prospecting (calls, emails, LinkedIn, events, …)
- Prospect, research and map target accounts to build a strong pipeline in the Belgian Enterprise/SMB market.
- Qualify both inbound and outbound leads on needs, challenges and fit with the solutions.
- Keep your outreach and pipeline activities accurate and up to date in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with the marketing manager to fine-tune campaigns and sharpen prospecting strategies.
- Share market and account insights with sales to accelerate opportunities and close more deals.
About you
- Some knowledge of and experience in the field of cybersecurity or network infrastructure is required.
- Motivated to open new doors.
- Result-oriented & commercially minded: you don’t give up easily and love working towards targets.
- Curious, social and able to build trust quickly in a first conversation.
- Strong communication skills: clear, convincing and adaptable to different audiences.
- Experience with CRM tools is a plus, but not required.
