About the role

As a Client Service Lead, you are responsible for a portfolio of 3 to 5 accounts, holding ultimate responsibility for the client relationship. You work hands-on, build trusting relationships and actively manage both retention and growth. You closely collaborate with multidisciplinary teams who support you content-wise, while you take charge of the client relationship.

  • Actively work on both the retention and growth of your accounts and be responsible for achieving your commercial targets
  • Annually develop and execute account plans with concrete growth objectives
  • Organise and facilitate quarterly meetings with your clients to evaluate and strengthen the collaboration
  • Ensure timely indexations and contract renewals
  • Identify opportunities within existing accounts and introduce new propositions to the client (cross- and upselling)
  • Proactively coordinate between the client and internal multidisciplinary teams for optimal alignment
  • Monitor client satisfaction, project quality and commercial results
  • Build long-term trusting relationships at CxO level
  • Act as a sparring partner for clients at both strategic and tactical levels
  • Contribute to new business initiatives and client presentations

About you

  • +7 years of experience as an Account Manager, Client Service Manager or Account Director within a service organisation, digital agency or similar environment
  • Demonstrable success in account management: you have proven capability to grow existing clients
  • Experience in developing and executing account plans and commercial strategies
  • Strong in stakeholder and relationship management up to management level
  • A proactive, commercial mindset with an eye for opportunities
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills, both verbal and written
  • Structured approach, monitoring progress and proactively steering where necessary
  • Experience with complex B2B clients and/or corporate environments
  • Affinity with digital services (strategy, design, development, digital marketing operations)
  • A true team player who effortlessly switches between different disciplines
