About the role
As a Dynamics 365 CE (CRM) Solution Architect you play a crucial role in designing, implementing and managing Customer Engagement solutions leveraging Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform and Microsoft Copilot.
Key Responsibilities
- Owning the Solution Architecture; from developing the initial solution design and implementation plans based on client requirements and business needs, to assuring quality during delivery and contributing to strategic and project operational decision-making through your participation in change boards and steering committees.
- Contributing to the Technical Architecture; working closely with the Technical Architect(s) and other stakeholders, consulting on providing technical guidance to clients and project teams in ensuring best practices for architectural design and governance are followed.
- Leading the requirements gathering; working closely with the Functional Architect(s) (or taking on that role), client stakeholders and the project team to define the project implementation scope (business requirements) and support with gathering technical (application) requirements. As early as the start of an opportunity, in a presales role capacity; engaging with prospective and current clients during solution demos and evaluations.
- Contributing to successful delivery: helping to ensure that the Customer Engagement (CRM) solutions implemented are robust, scalable, and aligned with the strategic/business objectives of the organization.
- Participating in the local & global communities; be a coach and mentor to (more) junior colleagues in their Belgian Business Applications team.
About you
- Have at least 5 years of demonstrable experience as a Dynamics 365 CE (CRM) Solution Architect (or equivalent).
- Have strong analytical skills to understand complex business problems and provide effective solutioning to meet client needs.
- Have strong skills in building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, understanding their business and strategic needs and providing tailored solutions of quality.
- Bring flexibility as needed to adapt to changing requirements, client needs, industry and technology trends.
- Have experience in leading and motivating cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. You are not afraid to coach your colleagues on a daily basis.
- Languages: Be fluent in English and (Dutch or French).
It is preferred to:

Have demonstrable experience in business process modeling using elements and concepts such as Business Process Modeling Notation, flowcharts and Unified Modeling Language diagrams.
It is a plus if you:
- Have technology/technical expertise on the Dynamics 365 CE (CRM) platform regarding its configuration, customization, security, performance and deployment.
- Have related technology skills such as .NET C# for plugins, Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform or Dataverse for low-code development, Azure Logic Apps or Power Automate for workflows and Azure DevOps or GitHub for source control and CI/CD.
- Have demonstrable experience with and/or knowledge of project management method(s) & frameworks such as Agile, Scrum or Prince2.
