This team focuses on Data Analytics, Data Visualization & Dashboarding, Datawarehousing and Data Engineering with an emphasis on solutions based on Snowflake. They enlarge a profound impact on the business by building a datawarehouse, including architecture design and implementation.

About the role

In an era where every byte could lead to the next big breakthrough, your role is crucial in shaping the data landscape. You'll empower decision-makers with seamless data frameworks, transforming how they perceive and utilise their information treasure troves.

You are part of a diverse and enthusiastic team of sales- and technical experts who take great pride in working on long-lasting and fruitful collaborations with our customers.

You are the guiding force for Belgian organisations transitioning into AI and data driven futures. You not only handle data collection, -storage, -transformation and -sharing but weave stories of success through insightful monetization strategies.

  • Lead the sales/business development within the Data Engineering Unit;
  • Achieve sales goals on a quarterly and annual basis by developing - and executing on - a sales strategy;
  • As a solution seller, develop new business based on value-adding cases you identify and build. Sniff out and built these cases based on the needs of companies in the Belgian market, finetune these with the technical consultants and position/sell them;
  • Closely collaborate with the consultants, they are (y)our lifeline;
  • Collaborate with the AEs of the main vendors Snowflake and dbt to generate leads and close business
  • Collaborate with other companies in the holding 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and the ones of the main vendors to setup and deliver events that trigger more business;
  • Stay in close contact with the Analytics Unit, the foundation you are building will serve their goals;
  • Sell both consulting services as well as licences and solutions.

About you

  • At least 2-3 years of XP in a commercial role in the broader landscape of Data Warehousing;
  • Commercial XP in Snowflake and/or dbt is a big plus;
  • Respectful towards people of different cultures and backgrounds;
  • Team player 
  • Consultative sales 
  • Freelance or payroll employment;
  • Languages: N,E,F (ideally).
  • Possible step up towards a role as Business Unit Manager in Data Warehousing/Engineering
