About the role

As a Sales Director you achieve the overall sales target, encourage autonomy and think outside the box. You develop and maintain trusted relationships with senior-level decision-makers and key buyers and report to the Managing Director. Flexible working and working hybrid is possible, you are in charge of your agenda.

  • You manage and give direction to a sales team experienced in Customer Experience and Data/AI;
  • You create a positive culture and motivate a team of Customer Success Managers and Solution Sales;
  • You lead by example and lift your team to a higher level;
  • You are responsible for a performance management review and validation of processes & tools;
  • You act as an intermediary between leadership, team members and customers;
  • You write plans, delegate tasks, provide feedback, work through problems and listen to your team members;
  • You develop and manage sales forecasting activities, targets, sectors, markets, territories and set goals to achieve objectives;
  • You develop and manage the marketing strategy / value propositions;
  • You plan and manage marketing and lead generation campaigns and measure results;
  • You review and analyze sales performance against plans to determine effectiveness;
  • You coordinate liaison between sales and other departments / business lines;
  • You manage & maintain strategic alliances / partnerships;
  • You are responsible for qualifying prospects, understanding pain areas, and managing the sales process to closure;
  • You develop trust relationships with prospects and customers;
  • You play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships;
  • You remain knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies.

As a coach, you ensure your team accelerates in:

  • Generating and managing new leads by calling, referrals, events, emails, networking, and more;
  • Developing and delivering sales presentations; 
  • Building an achievable pipeline with the given targets;
  • Building a relationship with prospects and clients;
  • Acquiring a thorough understanding of key prospect and customer needs and requirements;
  • Managing the proposal development process in coordination with the delivery teams and maintain the time-lines for the proposal;
  • Maintaining the business development databases.

About you

  • +15 years experience of sales and sales lead experience in an IT service environment;
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to persuade/influence decision-makers and executives;
  • Enabling each employee to realize his or her own potential and advance within the organization;
  • The ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, client executives, managers and subject matter experts;
  • Language: Dutch, French, English
