About the role

As an Executive Account Manager you are accountable and responsible for maintaining long-term strategic relationships across a portfolio of client accounts including creating, developing and executing against accurate plans and forecasts.

  • You work in partnership with a broad range of cross functional stakeholders;
  • You collaborate with your sales teammates and virtual account teams in order to manage demand generation and deliver the most effective value added solutions and services to clients.
  • The ultimate goal is to manage and transform businesses and embed this company as the preferred partner of choice with clients through the early engagement, whilst maximising revenue and profit opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage strategic business relationships across a portfolio of client accounts and engage with clients through face-to-face activities and demonstrations in order to position this company as a partner of choice.
  • Develop and maintain an annual business plan for the assigned portfolio to drive new business opportunities and recurring revenue streams based on a deep understanding of the key clients’ needs and objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to cross sell and upsell services and solutions in order to generate additional revenue and provide added value to the client.
  • Accountable for the achievement of revenue and profit-based targets, build and maintain accurate weekly reporting of the pipeline, forecast and activities.
  • Promote new ideas and solutions to clients and proactively engage with cross-functional internal stakeholders to help support and manage client needs.
  • Agree upon, create and implement against a strategic account plan for each client in the portfolio based upon client pain points and subsequent business goals.
  • Conduct frequent strategic reviews of progress against client account plans and proactively put in place corrective activity for plans that are off track.

About you

  • Solutions and Services driven individual;
  • Consultative and sales experience within technology (services and software) and with a focus on cloud and/or cybersecurity;
  • Extensive client facing sales experience, ability to win client confidence and deliver client demonstrations with professional authority and ease;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • Languages: Dutch/English, French is a plus
