Sales Executive Cloud

The European Union Sales Team of this company takes a lead role in the origination, pursuit and closure of opportunities that provide business value and answer the needs of their European Union clients.

About the role

In the Belux Health and Public Service and specifically the European Union Account Team, you will work as part of a team of Sales Executives to capture the top opportunities with emphasis on opportunity origination, qualification and capture.

You have affinity with cloud technology on a high level (advisory and solution selling). You lead the sales cycle and bring in the cloud experts and architects for presales.

You work on client specific value propositions, defining deal “win” strategies, develop proposals, capture deals. You are responsible for a sales target and for:

  • Building relationships with clients, the EU market and teams within the company to address clients’ needs/challenges;
  • Leading origination of new opportunities at clients, actively working together with the account teams;
  • Driving and closing new business opportunities;
  • Managing sales opportunities and follow-up;
  • Defining the win strategy based on SWOT analysis and competitive insights;
  • Help defining the price to win;
  • Shaping value propositions for clients, including story telling;
  • Writing proposals / RFPs for clients, especially for ‘big deals’, and take a lead role in presenting them to clients and internally to management;
  • Actively creating winning teams with other companies to enhance the offering to the client specific and building strong relationships with software vendors and cloud providers.

As a Sales Executive, you will be working closely with your colleagues from the H&PS community including other sales executives, proposal writers, solution architects, and subject-matter experts.

Your profile

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience;
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships;
  • Commercial mindset and ability to story tell client value propositions;
  • Experience in developing deal win strategies;
  • Experience in proposal shaping and orchestration of the offer writing;
  • Leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, and ability to work with mixed teams on specific opportunities or initiatives;
  • English mandatory, Dutch or French optional;
  • EU experience is a plus.
