They are now seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join a 10 FTE sales team.
About the role
This role is pivotal in driving growth through strategic leadership, team development and delivering innovative technology solutions. You inspire a high-performance culture, foster client relationships and ensure outcomes across existing and prospective accounts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership
- Coach and develop a high-performing team of 10 FTE Account Executives, fostering collaboration, accountability and innovation
- Set clear objectives, track performance and provide feedback to drive growth and development (KPI's based on gross margin)
- Lead team meetings to maintain focus and motivation aligned with divisional strategy
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors and internal teams
- Act as the primary escalation point for client issues, ensuring prompt resolution and service
- Drive forecasting and pipeline management using proven sales methodology
- Develop and maintain quarterly, half-yearly and annual account business plans to achieve revenue and GP targets
Commercial Excellence
- Apply financial acumen to inform strategic decisions and craft compelling business cases
- Understand key financial metrics (CapEx, OpEx, EBITDA, SG&A) to drive profitability
Sales Methodology & CRM
- Ensure compliance with sales processes and leverage CRM insights for accurate reporting
- Champion continuous improvement through training and coaching
About you
- A proactive communicator with client-facing sales experience
- Experience managing and motivating a team
- Proven experience in sales management
- Understanding of and ability to utilize Sales Methodology, from defining client needs to delivering outcomes
- Previous IT sales experience with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets
- Ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders, including C-level executives
- Analytical skills to interpret business/technical reports, and present information to teammates, managers and clients
